Walking & Talking in Ireland
From
the Green Glens of Antrim to the craggy sea cliffs of Slieve
League in Donegal - the highest in Europe - anyone taking
part in Walking and Talking in Ireland will experience the
magnificent hills and coastline of the north of Ireland.
You will stay in very comfortable guesthouses and eat out
in the local village in the evening.
When we transfer from Antrim to Donegal we will stop and visit
the medieval walled city of Derry with its impressive
outdoor paintings.
In Antrim as we walk along the coast to the Giant’s
Causeway - designated a World Heritage site in 1986 - or
cross to Rathlin Island to view over 100.000 nesting birds,
including the beloved puffin, we are constantly aware of
our closeness to Scotland with the Mull of Kintyre on the
horizon.
In contrast when we are in Donegal gazing out over the
Atlantic the next parish is America. Here we stay in Glencolmcille,
renowned for its wealth of traditional culture, music and
prehistoric settlements. After a day’s walking a night
of music helps to recharge the batteries.
A warm welcome, companionship and good walking is assured
if you join us.
‘Good for heart, body and soul.’
